Parking and Shuttle bus

There will be no spectator parking in the Nevis Range car park (Friday, Saturday and Sunday), which will be taken over by the World Cup Village. Limited paid-for parking is available in the Rural Complex car park, about 1km from the World Cup Village, on the Nevis Range access road. It is a short walk from here to the World Cup Village. There will be a limited shuttle for the very old, very young or infirm from the Rural Complex to the World Cup Village.

On Saturday and Sunday, when parking at the Rural Complex is full, you will be directed to alternative free Park and Ride car parks just outside Fort William. Please follow all direction signs.

Shuttle buses will operate from these locations to the World Cup Village. There is also public parking in Fort William itself – at An Aird and the West End car parks. This parking is subject to normal rates. Please take note of signs advising when car parks are full and follow the directions of Police, Traffic Wardens and our own Parking Stewards.

NEW TO 2014: Thanks to support from Tesco, we will be able to deliver a quicker, more efficient Park and Ride system this year.

Tesco are allowing us to use their development site (for a future Tesco Superstore), which is located at Blar Mor on the Mallaig Road.

With easy access off a new roundabout, space for over 800 cars and an improved shuttle we should be able to get spectators from their car to the World Cup quickly and with minimum fuss.

So when you arrive in Fort William, follow the World Cup parking signs for the easiest way to get to Nevis Range.

Shuttle Bus System.

In 2013 we provided a free shuttle bus system as you’ll see below – next year in May we will update it for the 2014 Fort William World Cup.

Free shuttle buses will operate on 3 routes on Saturday and Sunday only.

There is a feeder Shuttle bus: Paper Mill, Corpach, and bus stop at Banavie road end before ending up at Tesco Development Site (Blar Mor).
